Senior Account Executive

Senior Account Executive

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive who has successfully developed and managed interactive marketing strategies from concept to completion. The successful candidate will manage existing clients and projects and lead all new client acquisition initiatives.

Our new Senior Account Executive will be responsible for servicing existing clients as well as identifying new digital media opportunities and marketing the company’s services. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating multi-faceted web strategies for an array of clients. You will drive revenue with your web marketing knowledge, account management skills, business development acumen and superior client focus.

Account Management:
  • Write and implement strategic digital marketing strategies for clients
  • Manage all key accounts and respond to their day-to-day needs and requests
  • Build long-term relationships with clients
  • Provide day-to-day communication regarding development status to clients
  • Ensure all projects are delivered efficiently on time and on budget
  • Responsible for all project documentation (project briefs, contact reports, etc.)
  • Identify and escalate potential issues
  • Transform client problems into successful solutions (with account, creative and development teams)
  • Contribute to testing process (to ensure accuracy and completeness of all projects)
  • Lead internal strategy meetings
  • Keep up to date on market trends
  • Keep up to date on competitors initiatives
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions
Business Development/Marketing:
  • Explore new business opportunities with current and prospective clients
  • Communicate new services to current and prospective clients
  • Lead generation by leveraging industry knowledge
  • Sales forecasting with the team
  • Prepare and review all client estimates
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly/yearly budgets
  • Successfully market the company’s services
  • Create advertising material and key marketing messages for the company
  • Conduct service demonstrations in person and via Go-To-Meeting
  • Write proposals in response to RFP’s as required
  • Lead all other business development initiatives
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • College or university degree in marketing, communications, public relations or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a senior sales/marketing role (agency experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of online marketing techniques (structuring content, web site design, SEO, web analytics, online and pay per click advertising, mobile application development, email marketing and social media marketing)
  • Broad understanding of existing and competitive and emerging technologies
  • Ability to articulate project and technical requirements with prospective clients and project team
  • Must be flexible, dependable and capable of quickly learning new products, strategies and technology directions of various projects.
  • Some local, national, and U.S. travel to prospective and current client sites in support of sales efforts (passport required)
